Theorems on the existence of the best proximity of Kannan type cyclic weak \(\Phi\)-contractions in ordered metric spaces is investigated. Thus results of \textit{M. Derafshpour}, \textit{S. Rezapour} and \textit{N. Shahzad} [Topol. Methods Nonlinear Anal. 37, No. 1, 193--202 (2011; Zbl 1227.54046)] are generalized.
