The functional equation \(f\left(p(x,y)(xf(y)+y)+(1-p(x,y))(yf(x)+x)\right)=f(x,y)\), \(x,y\in\mathbb{R}\), is solved completely under the assumption that \(f:\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}\) and \(p:\mathbb{R}^2\to\mathbb{R}\) are continuous functions.
