Ultrafilters and properties related to compactness (English)

The authors introduce and analyze the concepts of strong p-compactness and strong p-pseudocompactness which are relevant to determine different kinds of countably compact and pseudocompact spaces with different properties. The products, images, and pre-images of strongly p-pseudocompact spaces are discussed. The concepts of strong p-pseudocompactness and pseudo-omega-boundedness are studied in detail and in relation to Rudin-Keisler pre-order on \(\beta\omega \). Illustrations are also given for one-sided implications.
