In this thesis, the author studies the Riemann moduli space \(\mathcal M_g\) from four different viewpoints. He mainly studies how Teichmüller curves lie in the Delinge-Mumford compactification \(\overline{\mathcal M_g}\) and especially evaluates the first Morita-Mumford co-homology class on the homology class of Teichmüller curves.
