The top left derived functors of the generalised I-adic completion (Q2865129)

Let \(R\) be a Noetherian commutative ring and let \(I\) be an ideal of \(R\). In the paper under review the author studies the top left derived functors of the generalized \(I\)-adic completion and obtain some properties concerning the vanishing or non-vanishing of the modules of the generalized \(I\)-adic completion of \(R\)-modules \(M\) and \(N\). In addition, the author obtains some results for the sets of the co-associated primes of these modules and the set of co-support of the \(i\)-th generalized local homology module of \(M\) and \(N\) with respect to the ideal \(I\).
