On determinants of some tridiagonal matrices connected with Fibonacci numbers (English)

A large number of papers on connections between Fibonacci numbers and determinants of Hessenberg and tridiagonal matrices has been presented in the literature, see e.g. \textit{N. D. Cahill} and \textit{D. A. Narayan} [Fibonacci Q. 42, No. 3, 216--221 (2004; Zbl 1080.11014)]. The present authors review some of these results and find connections to Sloane's OEIS.
