Sidon sets were the object of active and deep research between 1960 and 1985 and their structure is now essentially known. The main remaining problem is whether every Sidon set of integers is closed in \({\mathbb Z}\) for the Bohr topology [see \textit{C. C. Graham} and \textit{K. E. Hare}, Interpolation and Sidon sets for compact groups. New York, NY: Springer (2013; Zbl 1267.43001)]. In the paper under review, the author claimed to have a positive answer. Unfortunately, as acknowledged by the author, the end of the proof is erroneous. An Errata will follow.
