The author performs an analysis of an inverse scattering problem (at fixed large energy) when considering the multidimensional Newton second order differential equation with a smooth and short-range electromagnetic field. The inverse problem in question consists in obtaining the electromagnetic field when given the scattering map at fixed energy. Conditions are obtained under which the scattering map at fixed energy uniquely determines the electromagnetic field. This is done for both relativistic and nonrelativistic cases.
