On the triangular form of a polynomial matrix and its invariants with respect to semiscalar equivalence (English)

The author proposes an approach to the investigation of the structure of polynomial matrices in view of their reducibility by semiscalar equivalent transformations to simpler forms. A system of invariants is obtained for one class of matrices with respect to semiscalar equivalence. On this base, an almost canonical form of the matrix with respect to semiscalar equivalence is presented.
