The paper deals with a matrix inverse eigenvalue problem. For a numerical solution of this problem an algorithm based on the iterative Newton's process is proposed. In this iterative process, a numerical procedure of calculating the exact derivatives of a matrix determinant is used for the construction of the Jacobian.
