Stability loss mechanism of a rotating composite plane circular disc (English)

A method for the investigation of possible stability loss by a rotating elastoplastic composite plane circular disc is proposed based on the small parameter method. A characteristic equation for the critical radius of plastic zone is obtained as the first approximation. The values of critical angular rotational velocity are found numerically for different parameters of the disc.
