The authors discuss the application of a new method of stress state analysis for determining the effect of clamping conditions of layered beams on their dynamic properties. The stress state in the clamped region is analyzed in details. The proposed theoretical model includes deformation of the layers with allowance for transverse shear deformation, normal deformations and stresses. The dependences of the frequency spectrum on the anisotropy of mechanical properties and the stress distributions in the clamped region are calculated numerically.
