Effective properties of composite materials strengthened by orthotropic fibers with allowance for physical nonlinearity of the components (English)
0 references
The deformation model of composite materials with physically nonlinear components is developed for the case of materials whose matrix is strengthened by unidirectional infinite fibers. It is assumed that the matrix is isotropic and deformed according to a nonlinear law and the fibers are linear-elastic and have orthotropic symmetry. Dependences of the Poisson coefficients on macrodeformations are studied and nonlinear stress-strain diagrams of the composite are analyzed for various volume fractions and shape of inclusions.
