Positive solutions of singular Dirichlet problems via variational methods (English)
0 references
Second-order singular Dirichlet problems are considered via variational methods. The existence of at least one positive solution and two positive solutions under different conditions, respectively, is established. Moreover, the authors also investigate the existence of infinitely many positive solutions for singular problems in which a symmetric condition on the nonlinear term is not assumed.
