Output feedback stabilization for a scalar conservation law with a nonlocal velocity (English)

This paper is concerned with the exponential stabilization of a scalar conservation law which appears in semiconductor manufacturing systems. The feature of the studied model is that the velocity function is nonlocal. In fact, it is a function of the total mass. A necessary and sufficient condition for the exponential stability of the linearized system is established. The authors note then that it is not easy to deduce the exponential stability of the nonlinear system. This difficulty has been solved by using the Lyapunov function approach.
