The paper is concerned with a class of neutral type of totally nonlinear differential equations with delay. The authors prove the asymptotic stability of the zero solutions by using fixed point theorems and the Krasnoselskii-Burton theorem [\textit{T. A. Burton}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 30, No.~7, 3975--3986 (1997; Zbl 0894.47041)].
