This work discusses the ultradiscrete analogues of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) and Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equations, i.e., their discretizations, which use the maximal-value operator on the right-hand side of iterative representations. The soliton-like solutions are obtained for these cases and illustrated by the pictures for time evolution. From a more general point of view, there are proven theorems which state the ultradiscrete Miura transformation and solutions of the non-autonomous KP hierarchy.
