Exact transverse susceptibility of one-dimensional random bond Ising model with alternating spin (Q2872149)

The main purpose of the present study is to calculate the exact zero-field transverse susceptibility of the one-dimensional Ising model with random interaction energy involving the spin \(1/2\) and, more generally, with alternating spin \(1/2\) and \(S\). After a short review of transverse susceptibility, the integral form of tranverse suceptibility is derived, numerical results on the thermal curves are displayed, and then the author considers the expansion in terms of the moments of the distribution.
