Korovkin's theorem involving uniform convergence is a classical result in approximation theory. In the last years some Korovkin-type theorems in the setting of statistical convergence were proved. The authors of this paper define the uniform statistical convergence relative to a scale function. They obtain qualitative and quantitative Korovkin-type results with respect to this new concept of convergence, and show that these results can be applied to classes of functions for which the classical theorems do not work.
