Mixed conforming elements for the large-body limit in micromagnetics (English)
0 references
This paper deals with the mathematical and numerical analysis of a nonconvex full-space minimization problem, which is related with the Landau-Lifshitz model that describes the magnetization states. The authors are concerned with the well-posedness of the discrete problem for higher-order elements. The a priori analysis for lowest-order elements is also developed, and a residual-based a posteriori error estimator is introduced. Numerical examples include several relevant points, such as uniform mesh refinement in two dimensions.
