Mortar spectral element discretization of the Stokes problem in axisymmetric domains (English)
0 references
The Stokes problem for a viscous incompressible fluid in a tri-dimensional axisymmetric domain is reduced to a countable family of two-dimensional problems. Relying on this dimension reduction, one proposes a mortar spectral element discretization of the problem. Numerical experiments confirm the efficiency of this method.
