Strongly Lie nilpotent group algebras of index at most 8. (Q2874708)

Let \(KG\) be a group algebra. It may as well be considered as a Lie algebra, its Lie properties such as nilpotency and nilpotency index have been studied in great detail over the past four decades, a recent paper is \textit{V. Bovdi} and \textit{J. B. Srivastava} [Algebra Colloq. 17, No. 1, 17-26 (2010; Zbl 1197.16030)].NEWLINENEWLINE The authors determine group algebras with small, namely, at most 8, upper Lie nilpotency indices. Moreover, for index at most 6 they show that the upper and lower Lie nilpotency indices of the group algebra coincide.
