Carl Friedrich Gauß's contributions to numerical mathematics (English)

In 1977, Robert Schaback gave a lecture about Carl Friedrich Gauß's contributions to applied mathematics, in particular numerical mathematics and numerical algorithms. A written and revised form of this lecture was published as a small booklet [Die Beiträge von Carl Friedrich Gauß zur numerischen Mathematik. Göttingen: Lehrstühle für Numerische und Angewandte Mathematik der Universität (1977; Zbl 0388.65001)]. The article at hand seems to be the same paper with slight revisions. There is no need to add something to the review of [loc. cit.].
