Cosmological constant and Casimir effect (English)
0 references
The author discusses the possibility whether the Casimir effect known from quantum field theory, especially from quantum electrodynamics, can have an analogy for the quantized gravitational field. Further, he calculates the influence of the value of the cosmological constant \(\Lambda\) to this effect, and he discusses the related consequences for early cosmology.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1279.00055].
