Fixed points for \(\alpha\)-\(\psi\) contractive mappings with an application to quadratic integral equations (English)
0 references
In this paper, the author proves some fixed point theorems for the class of alpha-psi contractions, under some relaxed assumptions. The results unify and generalize several well known theorems in the literature. As an application, the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for a class of quadratic integral equations is discussed.
