The theory and practice of Reedy categories (English)

The axiomatic of a Reedy category allows that diagrams indexed by such a category can be defined inductively. The object of this paper is to show new approaches of the proofs of certain already known results, related with the homotopical behaviour of limits or colimits of diagrams when the shape is a Reedy category. The general theory is developed in parallel with examples which are used to prove that familiar formulae for homotopy limits and colimits have the desired properties.
