The dynamics of two-level discrete systems are examined in Chapter 3. Here, the heat bath, diffusive, Ehrenfest's, and Kittel's models are considered. The extended Kittel's model is investigated in more detail.NEWLINENEWLINE The continuous state space models with indirectly controlled force are examined in Chapter 4. The reader could find approaches to the heat engine that are based on previous results in Chapter 5. Some results: the work distributions for slow and fast processes, the Jarzynski equality for unidirectional processes, and problems of simulation are presented in three appendices. The authors focus only on the mathematical aspects of the problems and don't give any small analysis of experiments. The real results for the modeling of nonequilibrium processes in molecular structures should be based on quantum mechanics. This book may be useful for all who are interesting in the nature of nonequilibrium processes.
