About evaluation of multiple transformation of convolution type in \(L^2_p\) spaces (English)

Multiple transformations of convolution type for periodic functions of two variables are considered. The author provides estimates of such transformations using the best approximations of functions of two variables by trigonometric polynomials in integral metrics. A result of \textit{M.F. Timan} [Sov. Math., Dokl. 12, 897--900 (1971; Zbl 0262.42001)] is generalized to the case of two variables.
