Modeling and calibration of a camera for an augmented reality system (English)

Calibration, in the context of three-dimensional computer vision, is the process of determining internal optical and geometrical characteristics of a camera (internal parameters) and 3D position and orientation of the camera frame relative to the global coordinate system (external parameters). For the camera, a simple point model is considered. Problems of camera modeling and camera calibration, and methods for estimating internal and external parameters are considered. It is shown that, for estimating the external camera parameters for the output of additional information on the plane, the distance between four points in the coordinate system is sufficient.
