Approximate solutions of Noetherian boundary value problems in a critical case (English)
0 references
Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to a Noetherian boundary value problem are established for a nonlinear autonomous system of differential equations. An iterative scheme for solving the boundary value problem in a critical case is proposed based on the least squares method. This approach is illustrated by periodical boundary value problems for the Liénard and the van der Pol equations.
