Applied Bohmian mechanics. From nanoscale systems to cosmology. (English)

As it is well-known, Bohmian mechanics is an alternative version of quantum mechanics that follows the ideas suggested by Louis de Borglie and David Bohm. Ideologically it has serious difference from the so-called ``orthodox'' quantum mechanics introduced by Niels Bohr, Werner Heisenberg and others, but it provides exactly the same results as the latter. The book under consideration is a collective monograph devoted to various aspects of Bohmian mechanics. It contains 9 chapters written by several authors and it covers many subjects from contemporary quantum mechanics and its applications developed in Bohmian language. The contents can be seen from the following list of chapters:NEWLINENEWLINE1. Overview of Bohmian mechanics by Xavier Oriols and Jordi MompartNEWLINENEWLINE2.
