Robust equilibrated residual error estimator for diffusion problems: conforming elements (English)

The paper considers finite element a posteriori error estimation for elliptic problems with discontinuous coefficients. The estimator is based on the Prager-Synge identity and on a local recovery of an equilibrated flux. The estimator is shown to be robust with respect to the jump of coefficients if the distribution of diffusion coefficients is local quasi-monotone.
