The author presents four lectures given at the University and at the Pedagogical Institute in Syktyvkar. The following subjects are discussed:NEWLINENEWLINE 1) the influence of reforms of education from 1782 to 1802, the regulations proposed in 1828 and 1864 as well as in 1872 and its influence;NEWLINENEWLINE 2) the reform of the Minister of Popular Enlightenment Nikolay Bogolepov in Russia in 1898 in comparison with the propositions of Felix Klein in Germany made in Meran in 1905;NEWLINENEWLINE 3) the All-Russian assembly of mathematics teachers in St. Petersburg in 1912;NEWLINENEWLINE 4) the All-Russian assembly of mathematics teachers in Moscow in 1914. This booklet allows a view on the historical development of the mathematical education in Russia and presents little known details.
