Demazure crystals and extended Young diagrams (Q2883150)

The authors give an explicit combinatorial description for certain Demazure crystals of the quantum affine Lie algebra \(U_q(\widehat{sl}(n))\) in terms of extended Young diagrams. This is a generalization of the explicit realization of Demazure crystals for \(U_q(\widehat{sl}(2))\) given in [\textit{O. Foda}, \textit{K. C. Misra} and \textit{M. Okado}, J. Math. Phys. 39, No. 3, 1601--1622 (1998; Zbl 1056.17501)]. They consider a special sequence \(\{ w^{(l)} \}_{l \geq 0}\) of Weyl group elements and investigate the Demazure crystals of the highest weight crystal \(B(k\Lambda_0)\;(k\geq1)\) corresponding to the sequence \(\{ w^{(l)} \}_{l \geq 0}\). Then they describe the Demazure crystals in a combinatorial manner using the Young diagram realization of crystals for \(U_q(\widehat{sl}(n))\) given in [\textit{M. Jimbo}, \textit{K. C. Misra}, \textit{T. Miwa} and \textit{M. Okado}, Commun. Math. Phys. 136, No.3, 543--566 (1991; Zbl 0749.17015)].
