Compressible flows: new existence results and justification of the Reynolds asymptotic in thin films (English)
0 references
The paper deals with classical compressible Navier-Stokes equations in bounded domains. The viscosity is assumed to depend on the density of the fluid. The authors prove existence theorems for stationary and non-stationary cases. The results are extended to thin film theory and have application to lubrication problems. Convergence results are obtained for the compressible Reynolds equation in the stationary and non-stationary cases.
