Let \(G\) be an affine algebraic group over \(\mathbb C\) and let \(F\), \(H\) be the closed subgroups of \(G\). The author explores the existence of the categorical quotient in the category of algebraic varieties for the action of \(F\times H\) on \(G\) given by \((f,h)\cdot g:=fgh^{-1}\). The examples are given, in which this quotient does not exist. It is shown that under some assumptions the categorical quotient exists in the category of constructible spaces.
