Classification of nondegenerate equilibria and degenerate 1-dimensional orbits of the Kovalevskaya-Yehia integrable system (Q2884656)

This paper is devoted to a topological analysis of the Kovalevskaya-Yehia integrable case in rigid body dynamics. The Kovalevskaya-Yehia integrable case is a generalization of the classical Kovalevskaya top to the problem of the motion of a heavy gyrostat. It is shown that the additional integral has the Bott property on isoenergy surface of the system. Also, the Liouville foliation in a neighbourhood of degenerate 1-dimensional orbits and equilibria (points of rank 0) is described.
