On the base of the results for the delay-differential equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\dot x(t)=Ax(t)-M(t)x(t-\tau)NEWLINE\]NEWLINE the controllable system \(\dot x(t)=Ax(t)+bu(t)\) with a delayed feedback control \(u(t)=-k(t)x(t-\tau)\) is studied. The control has to vanish outside some interval \([\tau,\tau']\) and to settle the system at the zero state after time \(\tau'\), indepedently of the initial conditions. The algorithm for control design is proposed, optimality with respect to some integral performance indices is also analysed.
