The ``Electronic Research Archive for Mathematics'' (ERAM) at the SUB Göttingen (Q2888122)

This is a survey on the Electronic Research Archive for Mathematics (ERAM) kept at the State and University Library in Göttingen. ERAM is an open access offer of relatively large holdings of digitized mathematical literature in combination with a database version of the Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik (JFM). The article also tries to report on the background of the project with the same name, the history of the publications digitized for ERAM, the partners that took part in the development of ERAM, the state of the art of electronic publishing and retro-digitization and the efforts to set up a World Mathematics Digital Library (WDML). Unfortunately, this part leaves a lot of gaps and partially provides misleading information. The reviewer recommends to consult other published articles on ERAM, EMANI, JFM, ZBMATH, EMIS, WDML and further digital library projects for more comprehensive information.
