The author proves two generalizations of fixed point theorems due to \textit{W. A. Kirk} [Am. Math. Mon. 72, 1004--1006 (1965; Zbl 0141.32402)] and due to \textit{T.-H. Chang} and \textit{C.-L. Yen}[J. Math. Anal. Appl. 138, No. 2, 550--558 (1989; Zbl 0671.47053)] in locally convex topological vector spaces.
