In this paper Riccati's differential equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINEx'=x^2-x,\quad x(0)=yNEWLINE\]NEWLINE is studied in the class of train algebras of rank 3 and also in a class of power-associative algebras that are also train algebras (namely those satisfying \(x^s(x-\omega(x))^t=0\) with \(s,t\geq 1\) integers).NEWLINENEWLINEIn particular the author is interested in studying the long-time behavior of some of its solutions.
