On a modification of the Poisson integral operator (Q2890387)

Given a quasisymmetric homeomorphism \(\gamma\) on the unit circle, the author introduces an operator \(P_{\gamma}\) on the Sobolev space \(H^{\frac 12}\) by the generalized Fourier coefficients of \(\gamma\), which reduces to the Poisson integral operator when \(\gamma\) is the identity. This operator \(P_{\gamma}\) is shown to be essentially the same as the pull-back operator \(B_{\gamma}\) on \(H^{\frac 12}\) by \(\gamma\). The author then establishes a relationship between the operator \(P_{\gamma}\), the smallest positive eigenvalue of \(\gamma\) and the Teichmüller extension (if any) of \(\gamma\).
