The paper has a potential concept and in recent times, the Hartley transform has played an important role in terms of its applications. The paper discusses the extension of the Hartley transform to certain spaces of Schwartz distributions, of course compact support is a natural condition. The Hartley transform is also studied on the Boehmian space. The reviewer feels that the following references may be added:NEWLINENEWLINE1. \textit{D. Loonker, P. K. Banerji} and \textit{L.
