Exact stationary distribution of an asymmetric simple exclusion process with Langmuir kinetics and memory reservoirs (Q2890741)

The authors compute the exact stationary distribution for a version of the asymmetric simple exclusion process, known as ASEP with Langmuir kinetics (LK-ASEP), including also a memory reservoir, on a one-dimesional lattice with periodic b.c.. They first consider the LK-ASEP with periodic b.c. and compute exactly the stationary distribution as well as the explicit expression for some physical relevant quantities such as the stationary average particle density and the stationary current. Then, they turn to study the process with periodic b.c. taking into account also a memory reservoir (MR-ASEP). They compute exactly the stationary distribution of the process and derive the explicit expressions for the average stationary particle density and current in the limit where the number of lattice sites goes to infinity.
