On Fourier integral transforms for \(q\)-Fibonacci and \(q\)-Lucas polynomials (English)

The authors consider the families of \(q\)-Fibonacci and \(q\)-Lucas polynomials and give some of their basic properties. They show, in particular, that both of these \(q\)-polynomials exhibit simple transformation properties with respect to the classical Fourier integral transform. Hints of applications of these families of polynomials in various topics of physics are also mentioned.
