This interesting paper deals with various possible variants of a unified theory of rough \(\mathrm{CAT}(0)\) spaces. These considerations ``define classes of spaces that strictly include the union of all Gromov hyperbolic length spaces and all \(\mathrm{CAT}(0)\) spaces''. Some properties of such spaces are investigated and non-trivial examples for rough \(\mathrm{CAT}(0)\) spaces are given.
