A practical approach for the derivation of algebraically stable two-step Runge-Kutta methods (English)
0 references
Based on recent work by Hewitt and Hill, the authors present the practical construction of algebraically stable two-step Runge-Kutta method for ODEs. The analysis for constructing the two-step Runge-Kutta methods of 1-stage and 2-stage is provided. The authors study the implementation of the new derived numerical methods and analyze the orders of the numerical solutions at stage and node.
