    Let \(T\) be a Markov semigroup acting on \(B(H)\), where \(H\) is the system Hilbert space. Then \(H\) can be orthogonally decomposed into subspaces according to asymptotic properties the corresponding vector states fulfill under \(T\).NEWLINENEWLINEThe authors concentrate on finite-dimensional \(H\) and on the case of a discrete-time semigroup \(T\). They derive a number of results and illustrate, particularly, cases that exist only in the discrete-time case.
