Homothetic motions in the dual 3-spaces (English)

The authors study homothetic motions in the module \(D^3\) of triples of dual numbers. Some results also pertain to homothetic motions in \(D^n\). They compute pole points, pole curves, acceleration centers, and pitch. Cyclic matrices always give rise to homothetic motions and these matrices can be derived from the coordinate functions of dual spherical curves.
