Localized pointwise error estimates and global \(L^p\) error estimates for Nitsche's method (English)

The author considers second order elliptic equations in \(\mathbb R^n\) (\(n = 2, 3\)) and their discretization by the Nitsche method. Some localized pointwise error estimates are derived. Using these results, some quasi-optimal global \(L^p\) error estimates are proved. Numerical tests are presented to support the theoretical findings.
